Near the end of 2020 we entered into a partnership with WWF-Canada to help them promote their Parker’s Brook Salmon, Char and Trout restoration project that they are spear heading on the Northern Peninsula, close to St. Anthony. Parker’s Brook is the southernmost recorded Arctic Char river in the province and has had salmon die offs at the mouth of the river occasionally in the past. This project aims at discovering the river, understanding it’s flow and its behaviour and how it relates to Salmon, Trout and Arctic Char protection. There has been some remarkable work already down by this group in the past few years. We’re in close contact with members of the project and will be posting information about the project as it progresses.
