There are so many news articles posted online weekly about the growth of land based Salmon farming, so much that we can’t post them all. Here is one that is a quick read for you to know that land based farming will service local areas, farmers who ship salmon will loose out as consumers will buy cheaper local products. This doesn’t bode well for the salmon that is proposed to be farmed in Placentia Bay, as most of it will be shipped to far off destinations.
